I'm not trying to install Cinnamon, but the same error is appearing here
every time I try to install or upgrade packages. I did everything you
did in that text file you uploaded, but I keep getting the same error.
Don't know what else I can do to fix this.

OK. Got it working. Did a ``sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-
headers-3.8.0-30`` and now it's not showing errors anymore. :)

Hello. I'm having the same error and it's preventing me from upgrading
to 13.10 right now. If I do ``sudo apt-get install -f`` as you suggest,
