Sam Brookfield, which model version do you have? the new ones use intel core-i
6th gen CPU and the bug is for the old ones with 5th gen.
Sound still doesn't work for me (without the grub fix), with official ubuntu
15.10 kernel, latest hp bios and also it's the same with latest 4.4 kernel.

Titl
Just got my hands back on the machine and after updates, reboot and
suspend/unsuspend I can no longer replicate this issue (which is kind of sad,
since I would prefer to play with it for some time...it's boring when
everything just works).
Anyway, thank you for your attention and time!
** Chang
Strange that nobody else reported to be affected by the same bug yet.
I will have time to report upstream only after 20th July.

Touchscreen and hotkeys broken after suspend on HP Spectre x360
Status in linux
Public bug reported:
After boot all is working fine, but after suspend, touchscreen is no longer
working and so are the hotkeys (brightness, volume etc.).
I am running the latest kernel (3.19.0-21-generic). The same thing happens with
the latest 4.1 kernel.
