Even though I don't have the exact same hardware, the result I encounter
is the same.
It seems to be getting fixed though, anyone know how to apply these patches and
distribute them in a deb package?

Running quite well with kernel 3.2 for a week now and have switched to 3.4 2
days ago, still without any issues.
Perhaps all effecting should mark my bug happening to you as well, we should
turn up the heat!

I agree with madbiologist, although I understand that in some extend the
same error (bug) could be a result of different hardware configurations,
it all depends on the clarity and how fine grained the report itself is.
Something like my screen turns black sometimes without any back trace or
apport
