I've connected USB sound card "Sound Blaster Play! 3" and Headset
Microphone works just great. So headset microphone on XPS 9700 doesn't
work due problem with drivers. I suspect that Dell put some non standard

select can leave a dummy file somewhere and systemd service nvidia-

nvidia-fallback.service loads nouveau when I switched PRIME to Intel. I
also see nouveau in `sensors` output. `systemctl disable nvidia-
fallback` seems to cure the ptoblem, nouveau kernel module is not loaded
any more and power
After some time CPU load grew to 100% again.
Have found another workaround which is working so far (disabling nvidia
rules for udev):
sudo mv /lib/udev/rules.d/71-nvidia.rules
/lib/udev/rules.d/71-nvidia.save
(and then restart).
