Forgot to take a look at the timestamps which seems to show the
"problem" is more likely a consequence of hitting hardware restart.
Closing this and trying to take an extra look at the problem again, then
posting it on askubuntu

After a random amount of time the system crashes and everytime it has
something to do with iwlwifi, always at the same line: WRT: Collecting
data: ini trigger 4 fired (delay=0ms).
This seems to be jumpstarted by an Error sending logs. Two examples:
