OK - just a comment to say that recent updates fixed my framerate
problems and I am able to be productive using my Wacom Pro and
(K)ubuntu.

ok that works for me except that. I am losing a lot of OpenGL
performance going from 3.12 to 3.13 - my Unigine test scene is ~21fps in
the former and ~4fps in the later. Short story I still can't work
without rebooting.

Ok I can confirm that the updated kernel works. However I can't use it
as I depend quite heavily on the nVidia binary drivers to get work done.
