I have installed kernels 5.11.0-13-generic, kernels 5.11.0-14-generic, kernels
5.11.0-16-generic,
and still no sound. I tried to load the NVIDIA 450 module on the kernel...14
but it blocked the boot. Any suggestions? ps: I also tired to install ubuntu
20.04LTS: but no sound. Suggestions welcome

with kernel 5.10.1 downloaded from kernel.org with #189. On Gentoo I had
to use Manjaro's running .config obtained with make localmodconfig while

Hi Colin,
I tried testing your kernel but it fails on every boot, I get initramfs
/proc/cmdline error.
Currently I am now running Ubuntu 19.04 kernel 5.0 and the error
persist. I tried uninstalling thermald but the problem is still there.
I have also installed linux-firmware 1.179, same problem.
If I disable thermald, could it harm my laptop. Is there a chance of
overheating?

I've improved the touchpad response by increasing the maximum amount of
power the laptop uses on battery on TLP.
For those who have TLP installed, change this settings. Is the not best,
but it works a bit better.

This issue happens with the stock 4.15 kernel. I have upgraded the
kernel to 4.18 and 4.19 and was getting the same issue. I managed to get
rid off the error now. It seems it does not like intel_pstate. I added
intel_pstate=disable to grub and the error has gone away.
