been mainly using dGPU for 2-3 months, and wouldn't have noticed any
regressions.

After several reboots this morning I was convinced the issue would no longer
reproduce. A couple minutes ago I have rebooted the system and the issue
reproduced, and I was unable to get the wifi card working even though I have
rebooted into Windows and back into Linux several times.
Without testing the new kernel (I have 5.4.0-42-generic), I have tried

Kai-Heng, this was the first time that I had submitted a bug-report, so I
wasn't aware that I had to collect a bug report number. I now know, I think,
that the ReportNumber is in the URL of the report address, but otherwise I
don't know it.
Would it be buried in a local Apport file. I did look,

regression-update, this 'fix' for kernel drivers had stopped my BT in its
tracks. Restored a previous disk image free of updated kernel drivers.
I have now found how to avoid this install with a reliable check box in Gnome
Any help to filter out the kernel drivers in a manual update via the
terminal would be appreciated, having Removed Software Updater.

see any errors but wifi does not find networks.

Can confirm that installing kernel 5.0-rc1 using UKUU that sound from
the speakers and earphones now work on my Zenbook UX391UA.

I've noticed a similar problem with a Lenovo laptop with an Intel CPU,
Intel Haswell graphics and an SSD. One difference is that suspend works
fine the first time the lid is closed. Upon opening the lid, it comes
back up and I can unlock the screen, but the touchpad no longer works.

I fixed the slow booting problem by editing "/etc/hdparm.conf" and
changing "apm_battery" value to "255". Now my laptop boots normally on
battery mode (same speed as plugged in AC).
Now, for the AER problem, just ignore it. Add pci=noaer as kernel boot
parameter.
