I recently bought the Intel Dualband-Wireless-AC 3160 card which
supports WiFi and Bluetooth, too. Worked perfectly on my Acer Aspire VN7
-571G-52EP. I replaced the Qualcomm card with the card form Intel,
restarted, and it worked out of the box!

I'm using an Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro (VN7-571G-52EP) with dualboot Win8.1
and Ubuntu 15.04. Wifi does work in Windows, but not Linux.
