Hello, I have the same problem, with a lot of linux-firmware versions.
I have found this issue also with
linux-firmware-20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.12.
After upgrading linux-firmware lib, I always have to use this command

Thanks!
It turns out to be something with my installation (no success after removing

here). I will find that out for myself.

Alright, I also tested the proposed 5.11.0-19-generic now.
SoundWire does work on this kernel.
So that part is OK.

also uses.
It seems that we are now going to introduce this same bug on Ubuntu if this

Hi, I am lucky that I am reading the verification request now.
Yesterday I tried this one by manual dpkg-install:

Was this build supposed to have the fix included as well? Because for me
sound still did not work.

@kaihengfeng;
I have tried both kernels you proposed, and can confirm what has been stated in
the opensuse-Forum:
Both Kernels 4.11 and 4.12 SEEM to be working and show no graphic glitches.
So the first idea would be that something happend within the Kernel transition

I can confirm the bug too.
After the Xubuntu update from 17.04 to 17.10, the intel mobile graphics is
broken.
Moreover, the issue seems to be a little bigger.
The bug here is the same one as bug #1720703 , so Mods please merge the two
bugs.
