I tested a kernel with the noted commit in place and the problem was gone (git
bisect bad 3549130ef7f6ec732a7770ea0ac36231be85a089)
When I tested a kernel without the commit, the problem was reproducible
(git bisect good 52f401f9019975350bfd53e00026772fccde63fe)
To sum up:

to make a reverse commit bisect
