Public bug reported:
Just upgraded from 20.10 to 21.04 and the system became unusable.
First login after upgrade, screen flicked every 6 seconds noticeably
making the system unusable. Tried to log out, system froze.
Several more attempts, same flicking issue. Tried to use xorg instead of
wayland
Since I've upgraded to 16.04 I've started to experience these system crashes:
* Sometimes, when I plug/unplug an external hdmi monitor.
* Sometimes, when I shutdown the machine.
Haven't reported those as they happen a bit randomly. I am not able to
reproduce them at my will.
The one reported here

I cannot see that kernel, I've added:
deb http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ vivid-proposed restricted main
multiverse universe
to the sources.list.
Then:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ apt-cache search linux | grep "3.19.8"
And that returns nothing.
