The system has high fan speed even when idle. Overall, the fan never
gets to a fan speed as low as with the 3.13 kernel.
When running the kernel with intel_pstate=disable, i get much more
governor choices, and when selecting "powersave" with this, i get much
better behavior,
I ran the system with intel_pstate=disable when filing the bug, but the
buggy behaviour is without that option.

After installing in virtualbox on wily (virtualbox version: 4.3.28-dfsg-
1build1), the system does not automatically after shutting the desktop
environment down. instead it hangs forever. using the virtualbox
function "power down the system using ACPI" does not work, either. one
has to manually swi
This seems to be fixed in the currenty trusty daily image. It just works
out-of-the-box.
