USB devices
@Joseph, I went back and tried my former versions of the kernel back to
3.19.0-26-generic. But I can't really get USB to work.
Connecting an android phone leaves traces in dmesg though:

@Joseph, I can't really remember if there was a kernel upgrade shortly.
Sadly, my logs are only on tmpfs, so I can't even tell what upgrade
packages have been installed in the last days. I'll test out the
kernels, that are still installed, maybe 2-3 versions are still in grub
configured, to see if

Since two days I encounter a problem when I attach USB-Devices
(Printer/Scanner/Android-Device) the device is not recognized, even
dmesg does not state anything about the USB-port. The only thing that
works is my USB-Keyboard, wich is already connected on startup.

So, test was succesful, it seems the bug does not exist with latest
upstream kernel.

What happens:
When the lid is closed, ubuntu gets into a sleep state.
When I open the lid, the system recovers from sleep, the display shows
the screensaver, but the keyboard does not react on any input. I'll have
to wait several minutes, bevore the keyboard accepts input an
