my syslog was getting spammed with:
kernel: nouveau :01:00.0: fifo: SCHED_ERROR 20 []
which led to a full /tmp
Adding "nouveau.modeset=0" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT got rid of
that.

the status of the audio-master channel. At least it should.

I do have the same problem on a ProBook 440 G4.
There is a slider for the LED in alsamixer but it doesn't change anything.
Are there any tests I can run?
