I'd be happy to help test on Noble. I'm able to reproduce the issue

okay I updated the file with the info below. - I changed the screen mode back
to 5k as when its in the tk mode it will only have a max output of 2k.
In 5k mode im unable to get the resolution to exceed 1024*768 - Should I try
adjust the file with the resolution for the screen ?5120 x 1440 (32:9)

The kernel was faulty with a bad installation. The kernel was fine in a
virtual machine and reinstalling the kernel confirmed that it works fine
and a poor installation by the software update was at fault.
Thank you for your efforts on this, but I was caught out by a very
Disk space or installation is not an issue! In the apport installation,
/dev/sda6 error is an attempt to access swap! It seems apport actually
installed and somehow didn't look like it did!

I have an HP laptop with Core i5-8300h and it almost doesn't use all-
core turbo after couple minutes after boot. When I run a single threaded
task, it maintains frequencies of 3.5-4 GHz, but as I run anything on
all cores the clock drops to rates near the base frequency of 2
I have found that the rapid cyan lines disappear when I swap the color
profile from the default to the "test:blue" profile. The default profile
still retains the issue but the computer screen is less distracting
while using the blue. I have not opened the PC yet, but this does work
as a temporary s
I will make an attempt to open the PC to check if the ribbon cable or
any other cable is loose. I've opened other laptops before so I don't
expect there to be an issue on this one. I will report back what I find
on the inside but that will take some time.

I have adjusted the kernel parameters by opening the grub file at
/etc/default/grub and changing the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT from
"quiet splash" to "quiet splash i915.enable_psr=0". No significant

Tried to upgrade from Focal Fossa to Jammy Jellyfish and this error
occured during the upgrade. After I restarted the system failed to boot.
