Tested on Plucky 6.14.0
On ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, after enabled the proposed channel, and
installed the latest version of alsa-ucm-conf and 6.11.0-1022-oem
kernel, the LED of mic and speaker could work as expected on noble.

Had ubuntu desktop version 24.10. Updated with do-release-upgrade (after
sudo apt update/upgrade) and the kernel modules failed to compile
properly. Maybe it was just one step of the process, would need to take
a deeper look at the logs. It was "Bad return status for module b
