Please reproduce the problem (boot to black screen). Then reboot in a way that
you can use the computer and run this without rebooting again:
sudo journalctl -k -b -1 > /tmp/kernel.log
Then attach /tmp/kernel.log to your bug report.

On some OEM platforms observed bad suspend occurs on lid close and power
LED stays on without normal sleep behavior at that time. Needs to call
GFXOFF to the right state during the suspend stage.
