Rather, this points to a problem of none of the kernel metapackages
being installed except for the Nvidia hwe metapackage. So the upgrade
only pulls in the new kernel ABI of those packages that are needed via

As far as I understand hwe kernels on Jammy lacks aufs, so our fix for
shiftfs+overlayfs was dropped on these kernels. I'll work on the proper
