The 5.4 kernel doesn't provide a DTB for the 3A+ and the firmware falls
back loading the DTB for the 3B+. That's not pretty and the brcmfmac
driver also tries to load the 'wrong' NVRAM file.

I was told the test are boot into OS with select kernel, insert sata,
remove, and run sosreport. Below is syslog info related to boot and sdb
or sdc.

xubuntu and kubuntu, as lubuntu do use pipewire for audio.
kali switched last night to use it.
openSUSE did so too.
i did not test on a plain vanilla gnome based ubuntu until now. Will do
