O.K. thank you for your input. I confirm deletion of "--video=vmvga"
allows things to continue.
Historically, that was needed in and since 2013, when the default video
"cirrus" did not work. I now observe the default video is "qxl" which
seems to work.

I have a fresh install of Ubuntu Studio 22.04. Proprietary nvidia
drivers 510.60.02. The screen will sometimes get fuzzy. It's not
constant and doing things like typing or moving the mouse will cause it
to become un-fuzzy briefly.

Hi! I'll add some information that might help. As using bluetooth was
very important to me (and I had this same problem on 3 different
installs of that Ubuntu version), I searched forums and found a
solution. Basically I manually downloaded the linux firmware and copied
the ar3k folder to /lib/firm
