With this patch linux-image-5.11.0-13-generic is not booting anymore a
raspberry pi 4 with UEFI firmware (https://github.com/pftf/RPi4) (on hirsute)
I compiled from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/ubuntu/ubuntu-hirsute.git
, without this patch, and the raspberry is booting Ok.

No, this service (file) was introduced only later last year by us. We figured
that we should have some way to collect data on KVM for service cases - very
handy! The other distros adopted this, too :)
