The apport command does not seem to work.
Launched it, it opens a browser

@Califa101, yes, I have Ubuntu 20.04 also running on a much older
Samsung laptop, no issues with touchpad. It appears to be specific to
the Chuwi LapBook Pro laptop and whatever way it is configured. I am
just not sure if a BIOS update exists as you correctly pointed out that
the BIOS dates from 20
This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem.
While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel)
please enter the following command in a terminal window:

Have you tried installing Ubuntu or any other flavor (eg Kubunutu;
Lubuntu etc) on another computer with touchpad? I ask you because I have
two more computers, an older ASUS model and a XIAOMI Mi NOTEBOOK AIR
PRO, and the touchpad works correctly for both of them.
