bug 1515513 dealt with removing initrd.
Looking a the code, igb driver is untouched between -32 and -34.
looking network, timekeeping and x86 timer code is needed.

Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly
PPA prepared at:
