Great, thank you. zdb confirms what we already sort of suspected: the
file is ~12T with only 5.5G of real content. I was aware that ZFS
reported on disk size differently, but the fact that this isn't a
feature of compression threw me off in the output.

Percentage battery power left depletes rapidly with regular use of the PC.
This issue does not occur on such a scale in Windows, leaving me to believe
this is an issue with something in Linux using too many resources.

Couple of notes:
1. This is not an issue with clean install of zfsutils-linux
2. Removing zfsutils-linux and an autoremove with a re-install fixes this
3. This occurs on an upgrade from a previous release if I understand the issue
correctly.
