The same touchpad in Fujitsu E557 it completly not recognized. I tried with
with upstream kernel 4.14.0-041400rc7-generic and after upgrade do 17.10 even
'cat /proc/bus/input/devices' doesn't show my touchpad. But after I wake up my
laptop from suspend mode, magically my touchpad started works.
I guess you use lid to suspend the machine?
Please attach the output of `journalctl -b -u systemd-logind.service`
after the issue happens?

Once it has happened there is no way to check RAM usage because
keyboard, mouse, and network devices all become completely unresponsive.
I have 3.8 GiB of RAM installed. On the occasions when I have checked
RAM usage shortly before it happened: total RAM usage was 3.8GiB. I have

Interesting. I installed 17.10 and Bluetooth worked so much better than it had
with 16.04 (I had basically given up using it).
Then I re-installed to eliminate any of my changes as a contributor to a
different issue and now Bluetooth stutters again.
