4.10.0-22-generic). The mouse works, so the problem has disappeared.

NVidia setup is also including a second intel card (for power saving
mode), but yes I mainly try to use NVidia profile (kernel used to
complain about the intel card just like it is in your case).
Secondly not only 4.4.0-72-generic is working also 4.10.1-041001-generic
does very good job.

This is relatively hard to reproduce. It happens sometimes directly
after boot and login, sometimes after more than a week uptime.
I've simply selected an older kernel at boot (4.8.0-46-generic; the
newest one I had installed from Yakkety) and I didn't experience a
crash, yet.

I compile the kernel (3.3.8) on Ubuntu 14.04 and Centos 7-1511.
After I mount ecryptfs with ecryptfs_xattr option, it will terminate if
I copy some file in it. First time I copy files, it will be killed. Next
time I copy files, it will hang and do nothing.

I'm running 4.10.0-22-generic and it is still crashing (at least 2 to 5
times a day) (not only when running chrome, a couple of other
applications also cause this kernel panic to happen which completely
makes ubuntu (and any other linux distro on 4.10/4.11) unusable for work
@the moment...
