For those of you with problematic Intel devices, could you post the
relevant line from 'lspci -nn'? It looks like there are a few known
firmware issues with some Intel SSDs and a fix is in the works.
Meanwhile, I want to quirk the correct set of devices.
(I'm hoping they're all 8086:f1a5)

this issue is causing our Mongodb cluster to misbehave since the
oscillating clock is triggering a bug (not yet fixed and released) that

My initrd in recent kernels is 4x larger than in slightly older kernels,
making /boot just large enough. It seems unlikely this growth is
intended:

I also tried booting in upstart mode (since I was in the Grub prompt).
The boot process works better, the system doesn’t go to sleep during
