Wifi slow on Intel Corporation Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
I suffered from these messages after upgrading to Kubuntu 16.04.
After changing my hard drive, then my entire PC, then upgrading the
kernel to 4.5.2 and also my nVidia drivers to 364.19, the messages went
away.
However, I STILL saw intermittent lockups. These finally went away
after I turned off

Interesting that once my hangs were solved enough to use my machine the
thing now reboots on shut down. Windows 10 on other part of dual boot
works very well. How could Ubuntu release an LTS version knowing the
vast amounts of users that have this issue?. Or not even put out clear

I have found a workaround to ensure that the screen always comes up
after resume from sleep: keep an application like Blender open. Perhaps
it's because Blender uses OpenGL, which might have an effect on the

Update: I spoke too soon. After another reboot I just get endless i915

For reference some memory info from an Intel box with 8G physical
memory, booted with 1024M dom0 memory on a 4.2 kernel. The range of bad

kernel with 1024M dom0 memory. That was after cold booting into 3.19
with dom0=1024M,max:1024M which was ok, and then rebooting into 4.4 with
