CAPS LOCK led doesn't work with dumbkbd because dumbkbd option disables
the i8042 module write capability, so the i8042 can't write the led

I have updated from Ubuntu 15.10 to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and now I'm affected from
this bug.

Interestingly I managed to pair the Designer Mouse through bluetoothctl
in the terminal. It is still not recognized by the bluetooth system
settings though, which shows only my connected keyboard!!
My trick seems to survive a reboot, but I have to turn bluetooth off and
then on again for the mouse

I have the same issue. The work around with
"GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash intel_idle.max_cstate=1" seems
to have solved the issue for now on my Acer E511 with Intel Pentium
N3540 CHIP. And the temp has not increased very much after recent hard
use.
