I've been using the said hardware with ubuntu in all releases since
13.10 without problems. All touchpad features were working fine until I
received in 15.04 the automatic update to kernel version
Guys, anyone willing to help bisecting the fix for GM45 (= your HW) so
that the rotate bugfix for HSW/BDW could be applied again?

and did some more testing, it seems that this bug is only present when I
do a "Safely remove" for the USB3 flash drive.

How to reproduce :
- Install the 14.04.3 64 bits with a Mini pcie Wifi card Intel 7260-N
- Start a big Samba copy like 5 Gbytes on Wifi
- when reaching 3 Gbytes , you will see that the network traffic goes to
zero
- after few minutes the machine crash.
