Another one affected here. Nvidia GTX 250? Cannot even access shell
commands to fix anything. Supposedly the proprietary drivers fix this. I

This one looks a problem of systemd-timesyncd, from pmap log[1],
both the PC and faulted address aren't valid, which drop in heap area,
but the faulted address(0x7fa8ea6008) shouldn't have been allocated

One other thing, I need to reboot 3 times before X11 is completely
restored:
1.) drops back to GRUB without interaction
2.) does not manage to activate graphics mode, so asks me for my passphrase in
textmode, reboots a little bit later
3.) reboots to Ubuntu Unity.

I have a Lenovo Y50-70 with Intel Wifi 3160
I can associate and authenticate with my wifi router but I have been
unable to send/receive data using 802.11n 2.4Ghz on Ubuntu 14.04.2.
Trying to ping the route
I was experiencing this bug. With the upgrade to kernel
3.19.0-21-generic, the issue seemed to go away and my HDMI audio out
returned. However, if the computer goes to sleep the HDMI audio
disappears again. Restarting the computer is the only solution I have
found to bring it back, but it again
