stable kernel.

Issue description:
Triggering a kernel panic will not produce a crash dump file.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install kdump related packages.
2. verify crashmem value - defaults to 384M-:129M
3. verify that the system is ready for crash:
# cat /sys/kernel/kexec_crash_loaded
Hey Chris - what other info are you wanting from the kernel log? The
only relevant piece that I see in the log is attached to this bug as
OopsText.txt.
I diffed the fs/ directory between stable kernel 3.19.3 and Ubuntu
3.19.0-11.11 last night and didn't see anything that stood out.

Thanks. I've confirmed all of the patches listed in comment #6 are
indeed already included in our v3.19 based kernel for Vivid. The Vivid
kernel will be introduced back into 14.04 in our 14.04.3 point release
