iwlwifi-7260-12.ucode which my (stock Ubuntu 14.04.2) didn't have in

Myself and ShadowDave came across this error today when we wiped clean
my MacBook Pro and installed the 14.04 LTS. Everything went smoothly
until trying to install the additional drivers needed for my internal

I never close the lid immediately after booting, so in my case that
cannot have been the cause.
So far I have not found a correlation between the intel drm flip error
and things I did. Sometimes the error occurs after an hour, sometimes
not for two days. Now it is even 5 days ago:
