2. Turn off the sound via Mute button, the Mute LED is turned to Amber.

After using the r8192ee driver in the 3.16 kernel, I found SSH sessions to
be extremely unreliable.
Web browsing was tolerable but slow and required occasional retries.
I've now purchased a WiFi USB dongle and will test the r8192ee driver as
new 3.16 kernels are released for utopic.

is no problem to boot.
Just in case someone experience the same issue than me (or probably same than
Dave earlier too), i.e. the touchpad is recognized by the new kernel, but then
stops working again...
I installed 3.16-1 and the problem persisted.
