Ahh my understanding of how kernel drivers is much clearer now. I
previously installed 3.16-rc3 using the Arch Linux User repository and
its prebuilt customization option didn't have my driver selected. A

As a complement, I remember that the graphical tool for managing the
proprietary driver first displayed 3 devices which had a proprietary
driver. However, after installing the nvidia driver for my graphic card,
then I didn't saw the 2 other devices into the list proposed by the
graphical tool. Look
I achieved to poweroff my computer after the following attempts to
install my wifi proprietary driver.
However, with a previous attempt to install this driver, I'm not sure that this
package fixed the issue : I previously installed by using synaptic :

If this error occurs again, try calling rmmod for each file that shows the
"File exists" error, but in reverse order.
So from your error log, this would be:

@Martin: I'm also using a Crucial M500 which had the MU03 firmware. I
updated to MU05 and I did run trim manually. When I execute the command
I get a message which saying there a bytes trimmed. When I run it again
I also get the 0 bytes trimmed message. I don't know that this is normal

I think that I may have found the bug, and since the newest upstream kernel
3.16.0-rc3 has the affected code essentially unmodified, I contacted the
maintainer of the XHCI driver and the author of the problematic commit. I also

prebuilt packages with the cherry-picked
2b85886a5457f5c5dbcd32edbd4e6bba0f4e8678 commit fixed the issue for me.
It must be included it in the next kernel update for Trusty.
