The machine's been running with upstream kernel
(3.14.0-031400rc5-generic) for almost six weeks now without problems. I
haven't had time to do more tests with the old Ubuntu kernel, and
probably won't until Trusty comes out, so I cannot tell if the kernel

the refcount in another. However the code refactoring made it so the

Transfer to USB drive slows do
I take that back. There was a kernel update so the i386 version gave a
warning about missing kernel modules. I updated to the latest netboot
image and it boots up to a black screen. It does make it farther than
the amd64 version. Alt-F2 provides a console, but this is unrelated to
the amd64 net
All my issues (black boxes in Firefox & Thunderbird, white artifacts
when moving windows in KDE, desktop becoming unresponsible for some time
and then KDE desktop effects restart) are gone with the latest update.

What is strange is the response RDR_to_PC_SlotStatus (first byte 81h) when a
card is present and powered.
The normal CCID frame should be:

I would think Boris is after memory related special settings on the host and
guest (if you can reveal those). Could be you are hinting that at least for the
host the config was not modified. I assume still using the xm/xend stack. The
other info there would be the number assigned to mem of guest
so, the post-inst on the kernel checks to see that cpu does not have PAE and
then bails the upgrade.
However, it could check that even though cpu has no PAE support yet the
currently running kernel does have PAE config option enabled and continue with
the upgrade.
