I am running Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 daily and the mic mute/unmute is not
working on my Thinkpad T430S. I didn't think Ubuntu flavor was on
importance and that this was a kernel issue. Tthen I tried to boot
Ubuntu 14.04 daily and the mic mute/unmute works! The OSD inform
fwiw, I've investigated the dpkg segfaults, and seen the following:
