I don't see why this has to be closed.
Other people reported the same issue, they didn't have the same
hardware. There is no reason to close this because it happened on more
than one of my computers.

this be marked Status Invalid?

attempting a build debug, you could try building against the mainline kernel
via:
sudo apt-get -y install git build-essential kernel-package

attempt to blacklist the drivers tifm_7xx1 and sdhci individually (not
at the same time) and see if this changes anything?

This laptop has bluetooth 4.0, and it does not connect to a Galaxy Trend

The smartphone does not find the laptop, and ubuntu does not find Galaxy
