OK, I think I may be onto something. The only thing that comes close to
the error message are problems with wireless.
Before I go further, vlc is crashing on startup because ir support is
now enabled.

I managed to figure out that the link/icon calling su ubiquity to
install from the LiveCD fails in the current daily images, so I ran sudo
ubiquity from terminal and got Ubuntu to install, I then was able to
install the Propietary nVidia drivers and restar
"If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-raring-needed'
to 'verification-raring-done'."...

I just realized something I changed on my system when I reconfigured it
which turns out to have allowed the nic to work previously. I disabled
an extra sata controller on the system which I wasn't using anymore and

Having the similar issue with Ericsson H5321gw in Toshiba Z830. SIM registers

Damian, the "fdisk /dev/ram0" was a typo, because I was NOT in any

I also have this bug. When I rotate my mouse over my web-browser, I can
get the cpu usage to spike as high as 40%. When I am not moving the
mouse, it shows 1% usage. Rotating the mouse over a terminal window, it
jumps to 3-5%.
