Managed to find the culprit by printing some more debug output and thereby
locating the problematic calendar folder
The final fix was to clear the Akonadi cache for that particular calendar

Work-around: Disabling the 'use addresses indexed from emails for

Work-around from comment #3 solved the problem for me: Start akonadiconsole,
observe there are two agents running called "Akonadi Indexing Agent" and
"Akonadi Baloo Indexer". Remove the latter.
