I remember her writing to kde-edu about having fewer time for KDE in the
forseeable future and handing over other responsibilities to capable people

This sounds great to me having chatted at Akademy. I also wonder if the
design of the UI could be reviewed, wizards are a bit Windows 95 and out of
fashion. I'm doing a more advanced KF5 template as you know which I hope
to submit shortly.
