I still have one small issue though - slow rm/mv of large number of small
files from dolphin.
Not very significant though.

I found only a little bug, I have a multiple monitor configuration with an
external lcd connected to the left of the main monitor. With 4.8 I have to
reconfigure this setup at each start, in kde 4.7 saving the configuration
as defult (there is a button for this) worked well.

Yep, had them with 4.7.4 also, although it's significantly nicer with 4.8. I
am using a newer intel driver than was originally shipped with oneiric which
gives me stability but it was working 'out the box'.
