first of all - thanks to all for reading my proposal and your
suggestions.
I will apply this patch and test if it improves the situation. But as
far as I see now, this only changes the positioning of windows.

Can you break the timeline down where you have "fix applications" into much
more specific apps with timescale. Possibly even breaking down the
different bits of apps.
It doesn't matter if we deviate from it when GSOC starts, but it'll show
