I misread the instructions, and indeed the KDEDIRS var was incorrectly
setup.

I'm trying to setup a kdevelop project to build a single project,
using my system's kdelibs and qt libs, but when I run it it uses
the kpart from my system installation.
Any advice? I've followed the tutorial, but I'm not sure
whether everything is correctly setup.

I've got an idea for the 2013 GSoC: add projective geometry to kig.
This would need adding the relevant data structures, generalizing the
algorithms
and designing UI metaphors for the points "at infinity".
