Hi KDE-developers,
Today I have seen that Plasma 5 was released recently. As I am currently
developing a QML based application development framework (
https://github.com/strahlex/QtQuickVcp) this is a reason for me to check
again if the KDE libraries are now cross-platform compatible. I introduced

Hello,
I think it would be better to make a cross-plattform aproach using Qt. A lot
of Linux developers (like me) use MeeGo, Maemo or in the near future
Sailfish as their smartphone OS. With Qt you could support all these
platforms plus Android and iOS. It is very likely that you need to develo

Hi Stephan,
You might be interested in this: http://qremote.org/ I started developing it
actually because I got no GSoC job last year. It's not KDE specific but
mainly what you describe. Btw. the hardest part was developing the GUI
screen size and platform independent. On the desktop the hardes

saved in a text file instead of hard coding, making it very flexible.
I have already written on the GSoC page and a few students have already
contacted me that they would be interested.

KTechlab looks interesting, I also would be interested in a Qt4 port.

t would be nice for me to work for this
project on GSoC (yes I will work on this project also without GSoc, but I
could code a lot more if I would get paid for it). If you are interested,
I'll make a proposal.
