What exactly do you mean with notification?

Somebody should continue Kamion, imho that's was the right way to go.
We need generic and specific backup/sync tools everything wrapper up under the
same GUI.

Hey! let's keep the email clean about how stupid patents are, we all
agree on that :p
Some distributions have legal departments, distributions are our only
way to make our software reach the end user, we have to work together
even if we don't like their policies. Vishesh already proposed a way

Hehe, this email couldn't arrive at better timing.
We are discussing in another mailist (plasma-devel) about this.
We created a PoC of our own sso called "Accounts" and designed how the
final thing should look like at our annual meeting (Akademy). You can
take a look at the PoC here:

I just assigned the Timer one to myself, if someone has already work on it (or

Hey there to everyone!
Months ago we started to port all plasmoids to QML, we have come a long way
and now it seems we are getting close to finish the huge task.
During this short period of time, a lot of people have worked on QML: GSoC,
sporadic developers, etc. Because of that we have a littl

Hello everybody!
I'm doing some bug triage on libsolid (as well of some bug fixing) and I'm
finding that most "nasty" bugs are fault of our HAL backend (or HAL itself).
I tried to build HAL and failed on it (easy fix though) but that made me
realize that there is no point of me fixing HAL issue
I'm going to just let my excitation talk by me since I have been missing this
since I'm a KDE user (quite a few years now :p)
What about open/save dialogs?
Notifications?
SWT?
:33 Thanks and great job !

Execute the process with K/QProcess, then try to send a unix signal to it,
that might work as well though it depends on unix signals which are crappy.

Yes, but k3b does a lot more than just managing iso's, the idea is to have
something within baseapps that does the basics, which are:
-Partitions
-Disks/raids (not sure of raids)
-S.M.A.R.T

Mext week the biggest mobile congress will start in Barcelona from 27 February

some networking KDE related and I want to go well prepared :)
So far this is what I got:
-I will download all our Harmattan apps

Hi there !
I'm going to remove the support for everything not Linux in LibSolid...
Nah I'm kidding folks!
I'm starting to fill my dutties as Solid maintainer so the first thing
I'm doing is reading all the code we have and evaluate the state of the
art within libsolid.
I'm glad to be able

Cocoa has the same behaviour afaik, if it does then Qt developers targeting
multiplatform should be aware of this (documentation issue).

I'd like to add that as an user, I love the dragging feature, so is a small
price to pay.

Well, I've been debugging 2 ioslave with kDebug for months and I'm
precisely saying that
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/Debugging_IOSlaves#How_to_get_
KDebug is not working when used in kio_slaves, I've tried both types
named areas and with number (kio_ftp) neither is working.
I did some test by updating kdebug.* to r1153038 but nothing changed so
any help will be appreciated (is way slower debug a kio without KDebug).
Thanks.

Hi, sorry for the late response
Ereslibre and I are planning to do some work in the xrandr area, but not
specifically in the kcm but in all KDE Software.
We don't have a roadmap yet, so far what we've done is: research how XRandR
works, understand what are the difference between Output/Screen/E
