i just deleted ~/.config/kwinrc and rebooted and logged in
observations:
1 - all my previous problems still existed
2 - i have a script that i run EVERY FIVE seconds to check whether i am on the

i rebooted my laptop and found my hdmi overlaying my vga screen as seen in the
kde screen settings monitor.
it doesnt end there, coz when i run the following, nothing happens:

I am on fedora 23 and a few days ago, it was update to 5.6.3(?!) and this issue
no longer affects (new ones have cropped up tho!)

this is S random
i could dock and undock my laptop 50 times and nothing happens and then
suddenly, just now i undocked the laptop and the taskbar panel disappears.
