The issue was produced in some cases when the video file reported an incorrect
aspect ratio.
This can be fixed by changing the proxy profile like this:

With my latest patch, the header width is resizable. You can drag the right
border to make it larger. The ">" icon works for me if tracks are too narrow,

Yes, this is currently fixed using MLT and Kdenlive from git master, should be
available with Kdenlive 16.08 and MLT 6.4.0.

Thanks Jesse for the feedback. For sure we all want to be able to composite 6
tracks in high quality without any drop in framerate. But for Kdenlive's 16.08

compatibility. A new MLT release will probably happen in 1-2 months, not before
