I don't have any idea. Perhaps Dolphin has problems if there are too large
files in trash? I had some large files then and total amount of used space in
trash was around 400 MiB.

I have thrown 7.4 GiB of data into trash. Dolphin duplicates files in trash and

Finally, I have found, what is causing problem. In recent version of Dolphin
you have moved URL navigator into the toolbar. Please, remove the URL navigator
(breadcrumbs) from the toolbar, then it will appear

Similar problem with directory counting is in Filelight. And in Properties
dialog window in Dolphin. Counting subdirectories never finishes.
